How to Use this Product:
According to the bottle, you apply this serum after toning, but before moisturizer. Toners help to really absorb serums, so that’s the reasoning behind that.  Again, the packaging is very attractive on this bottle. It’s nearly identical to that found with the Anti-Aging Moisturizer.
The Claims:
The claims for this product are a bit different than those I mentioned for the Anti-Aging Moisturizer.  According to the box, this serum is supposed to “Plump(s) & hydrate(s) dry dull skin; assist(s) in balancing skin moisture levels; and diminish(es) surface lines and wrinkles.”
The Texture, Consistency, and Scent:
The texture of this serum is a little thinner than serums I’ve used in the past, but still not overly watery. I think that the consistency is nice and good for lighter moisturizing. It doesn’t absorb the best by rubbing. I recommend patting this serum into the skin, but that’s what you should do with serums anyway. The smell of this serum is not at all overpowering and is very delicate. This is a gentle serum and I think it would be good for all skin types.
My thoughts:
Overall, I can’t say anything bad about this serum. It is non-irritating so far and the smell is not overwhelming. I think that the claims for this product can only be seen with extended use. I recommend giving this serum a try if you are looking for a good hyaluronic acid serum.

My Review

I would first like to disclose I received this product for free from BrandBacker in exchange for an honest review. This is a thick, opaque gel formula that smells like fresh cucumbers. This product drew my attention because it treats under eye circles. I personally have dark circles from hell. Or rather I did. I’m not claiming this is a miracle worker and since I don’t have a problem with under eye wrinkles or puffiness I can’t speak to that aspect of this product. However my experience was with application twice a day as suggested my dark circles did lighten. This product smells of cucumber gave me a spa feeling because of that. I recommend this product for sure. Just remember this isn’t a medicated product and probably won’t produce miracles but in the short time I’ve been using it this product has helped me. Review 
 I feel everyone needs one of these tools in their vehicles for safety reasons.
 The Autobar can cut through a seatbelt if you are stuck and the seat belt won't release. It has been known to happen after an accident that the catch won't release. I can still remember a woman wrecking near my step-father's job site and the men desperately trying to release her from the seatbelt. Obviously, I have been unable to test this portion and hope I never have to.

The Autobar also will break out a window. I know my cousin has a personal fear of this so she would love to own one of these. The metal tip is very solid and I can see how it would work to break a window. Obviously, I have been unable to test this portion and hope I never have to.

Adeline Organic Eye Serum Review

I received this product for review in exchange for an unbiased opinion these thoughts are my own. Adeline organic eye serum is an aloe and cucumber eye serum. This product is light and a small amount goes a long way. It goes on very smooth. You just basically pat it on around your eye area. It is not sticky at all and it was actually cool and refreshing to my under eye area. I have used it for a week now every day and have already noticed that my eye area looks brighter and is certainly smoother. Because you use such a small amount, this product will last you a long time. It has a very light scent that is not overpowering. It dries quickly also so you can put it on and then be ready to apply the rest of your makeup about 2 minutes or less later. I really like this and think you should definitely give it a try! I start with a fresh clean face and then apply this in a tapping motion under my eyes and at the outside corners of my eyes where crows feet are prone to show up. I then just let it dry. I have not had any irritation and there is no burning or stingy like with some products, but please avoid getting it in your eyes.

This was the first Abigail book I have read, but Tali Carmi has been writing a series about Abigail's adventures with her magical bike. 
In the story we learn about igloos, what the people from the North Pole eat, and about polar bears. 

I love reading books to my children, especially when it gives them information on new places and cultures.
The author was great to keep the wording simple for children to understand. 

My five year old stayed interested throughout the whole story and even talked about what she learned from the story and wanted me to read more about Abigail's adventures. 
This is a great book for young children because it's very colorful and they get an idea of how people in North Pole live in a way. I would recommend this book to elementary teachers and parents with young children.

 I will definitely be getting more of Abigail's adventures to see where she might go next.

Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer review

This has become my favorite moisturizer to use first thing in the morning. Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer is a medium consistency moisturizer and it feels a bit sticky right after applying, but that goes away in just a few minutes, and then I am free to apply my makeup, if I am wearing any that day.

It’s not just great for your face, but can also be used on the neck, hands or anywhere else on your skin. The only place it is not meant for is the eye area. It will sting, again due to the peppermint oil. I love how it soaks into my hands and forearms and really takes away the dryness and plumps the skin up immediately , feeling soft and moisturized.

It contains some great ingredients for anti-aging like Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl, Vitamin C,  Peptides, Shea Butter and Green Tea Extract. It is very gentle and can be used on all skin types. You can use it as a stand-alone moisturizer after cleansing and toning the skin, or over the addition of a serum if you use one.

Adeline Beauty is a small company that was founded by a husband and wife team, that really cares a lot about their customers experience with their products. As well as not wanting to add any nasty chemicals to their line, they also wanted to make it affordable. I received this product for review and I was so excited because of how many leather items/products that I own and that need to cleaned. I used this first on my leather boots and purses and the results were fabulous! I also used this Leather Nova Leather Cleaner on my car seats and the results were even more amazing! Leather Nova’s Ultimate Leather Protector Conditioner. Also made in the USA for non-toxic, high grade polymers, and like the cleaner, free from harsh detergents and chemicals. It goes on thick (using the included microfiber applicator and, again, my hand) but spreads easily. It was very shiny and had me quite worried, but a careful reading of the directions says to leave it on for an hour and then buff the excess away. After a hour I buff with a soft cloth. Hubby’s chair didn’t look this snazzy when we brought it home from Krause’s! And the smell is almost showroom new. No little cloth fibers left behind from buffing, just a soft, smooth, supple leather chair that even I can now enjoy sitting in. It even lessened the appearance for the two surface scratches in the seat cushion. Two for two!

Finally I tested out the  Leather Nova Cleaner & Conditioner. Made to the same standards of the stand alone cleaner and conditioner product, it was, sadly, my least favorite of the the three. I followed the directions to a tee, but felt that the two separate products did a far superior job of both cleaning and conditioning the leather. I could see this being used as a “touch up” or follow-up treatment after using the other two products first to deep clean and condition, but as a stand alone product it felt lacking. It worked well on Hubby’s wallet, and an old purse of mine that had seen better days (it may even work it’s way back into the rotation again!). But where it really shined was an old leather jacket I’d given hubby back when we were dating. He’s used and abused it, even one year where it was used to take our little dog out to do her business. In the rain. And then left in the garage to dry. After an all-over treatment from Leather Nova’s Cleaner & Conditioner, it felt better than the day I gave it to him. Many, many, many (like, a lot of) years ago. And now with many more years to come. So while it wasn’t my favorite of the three, it still did an outstanding job on it’s own.

I work at 6am everyday so those dark circles are hard to avoid. I wash my hands to avoid getting oils on my face then dab a small amount lightly on my trouble areas. A natural, healthy product is exactly what your skin is looking for. I received this sample product to write an honest review. The appearance of the fine lines, wrinkles around his eyes are greatly softened and diminished, the bags under his eyes have softened wrinkles. We made the mistake of thinking that it would help get rid of the bags, well no, not that, it would take down swelling around the eyes (puffiness) just as it claims. The bags tend to be fatty tissues that increase under the eye with age, there is no known non-surgical way to improve this, though the wrinkles there can be softened quite a bit by Adovia Eye Cream and it has for him. :) Would I recommend the eye cream? Yes and No, yes for those who don’t have sensitive eyes & skin to skincare products. A no to those who have had recent eye surgery. Product Review: Radha Beauty’s 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil

In case you haven’t heard of Argan Oil, here is some information from their website so you know.  Again, I got this from their website. I did not write this:

I had the opportunity to try a product from Radha Beauty, and since I already loved their skincare products, I was excited to have something else from them. This time it was argan oil, which is so great since it has multiple uses. I first discovered argan oil in late 2012, when it was starting to become trendy, and received a sample of Josie Maran’s Argan Oil. Because the brand was so expensive, I treated the oil like it was precious treasure, using only once a week to try and make it last as long as possible. Radha only charges about $15 for a 4 oz bottle while Sephora charges $96 for the Josie Maran brand, same size! And they both contain 100% pure organic argan oil– that’s all.

That said, there’s a reason why argan oil is so popular! I’ve used it for my skin as well as my hair, and you don’t need to use very much. I apply the oil to my face and cuticles to combat dryness, and it feels like your skin is moisturized for hours. It hasn’t caused me to break out, either. My hands get really dry, especially around my cuticles where the skin starts to crack, giving me annoying hangnails, but after I applied the oil, they looked much healthier. Hangnails disappeared! When applied to my face, it helps reduce the appearance of my dark circles and makes my complexion glow. Some people have said that with consistent use, they’ve reduced their need for foundation because their skin improved so much after using argan oil.

Since I have been using this serum, I noticed changes within my skin. I have sensitive acne prone skin with discoloration due to acne scaring and sun damage. Within two days of using the Vitamin C serum, I noticed a few changes. The acne that I had on my face was clearing up quickly and the size of the pimples were reducing dramatically. Normally it takes about a week or so for that change to occur without using this serum on my skin. The discoloration on my face started to lighten and some dark spots had started to fade away as well. The last thing I noticed change with is my complexion; it is clearer, becoming more even toned and radiant. This is a must have product for me because I just love this results I am getting from it and how effective it is. Plus it is not harsh at all on my face.

I loved the Radha Vitamin C Serum. It does not contain parabens, alcohol, or sulfates. It doesn’t matter what skin type you are, this product can be used. After washing I applied this to my face and neck. I did not need a lot to cover my face and neck either, It feels nice and smooth going on. Its not heavy or greasy and soaked right in.

Review: Kiss Me Organics Dandelion Root Tea with Hibiscus & Cinnamon

The teabags have paper tags which I like. The teabags themselves seem to have a lot of dust in the packet from the tea inside that contributes to a strong scent. I’m not sure how I feel about the scent but it’s much milder and more pleasant as you’re brewing the tea. The tea has a nice bite to it with the cinnamon and the hibiscus mellows it out a little.

Size

Honestly, for $25 this is a decent sized container. The jar is 6 oz, but after 3 applications I’ve barely made a dent. I can easily see this jar lasting 5 or 6 months or about 20 – 24 applications. That’s only about $1 an application making it highly reasonable.

My Review
 
I have never used a face mask before, never had a facial, or really used anything on my face besides cleanser. Being the first time, I was a bit hesitant to use this on my face, but decided to go for it and just use it! The mask smells like peppermint and sea salt, which is a nice smell during the 5-10 minutes that I leave it on my face. It does have a tingling effect some people may not like but I didn't mind it  The instructions say to use it once a week (even though I used it twice in one week), and after 1 use, I can already tell that my face is softer and brighter.  The mask dries and is easy to take off with a wet rag, which is PERFECT for a quick morning when I need to clean and soften my face. Gotta keep that skin smooth eh? So maybe you all should try it and tell me what you think!!!

Fogless Shower Mirror

Recently I received Cassani‘s Fogless Shower Mirror in return for my unbiased opinion.  At first  I wasn’t sure how I was going to use it. I don't shave my face and my husband has a full beard that he never shaves but I decided to hang it on my shower wall and see if I would use it.

The mirror is made of plastic and not glass which I am very happy about so it if falls down, it won’t shatter into  pieces and give me 7 years of bad luck.  The mirror is easy to set up  just place the hook for the mirror around face height  and press it into the wall. It doesn't have suction cups.  I enjoyed the razor hook  (it's nice to have a spot for your razor.  The hooks are made of stainless steel, so hopefully, they will not rust.

I have found a use for this mirror afterall, I am bringing my tweezers into my shower!  It's so convenient  for me to pluck my eyebrows and any other stray hairs I might find around my face. I also find that this is useful with my cleansers and pore brush, so I can ensure that I cleanse my face and not miss any spots that need special attention. The mirror, so far, has not fogged up and I’ve been using it for over a week now.   I always take steaming hot showers and was surprised to see that the mirror has not fogged up with using such hot water.  Make sure you follow the cleaning instructions and not use glass cleaner or any other chemicals. Just use water and a soft cloth to clean ~ otherwise, it will destroy the anti-fogging properties of the mirror.

Savvy Ice Balls Review

This set is adorable. When it got here, I was surprised at how excited  my husband was when he saw it!! My husband is really into whiskey stones but they only stay cold for so long before they get to room temperature.  I love the silicone tray! The ice balls are easy to remove also. They took a long time before they started to melt since they are 2 inch balls!  The best part is they won't water down your drinks, by the time the balls melt you will be done your beverages.  This would make a great Christmas gift.  I can't wait to use these ice spheres in my punch that I'm making for my son's birthday party.
